I don't know any news; here's my speculation, because I've been wondering the same (by the way, I am long LHSPF since two weeks ago, in addition to FONX, so I am not objective!). My guess is this - the world is waking up to voice recognition as a huge potential market; the stocks could be on the verge of the next big fad, like Y2K stocks, networking stocks, internet stocks, etc. before them. If you believe voice recognition is the next big thing, who do you buy? Dragon Dictate is private, IBM is hardly a pure play, so it leaves one with LHSPF, which has a product and is making a profit, or FONX, which may leapfrog everyone else, but no one knows for sure yet. KURZ was in the field, but anyone who had them handicapped as #1 is also going to be in the LHSPF camp. OR, maybe the same scenario is being played out on a much larger scale - is someone (MSFT, for example) looking to acquire a voice recognition company? I have no idea, just idle speculation. But since you asked... Bob
