Hi John, I'm not sure about your numbers, but then again I'm not sure about mine either. I just grabbed them off SI.
They show EPS of .03 and 33% EPS growth. At that rate it's more like 18-24 years (a slight exaggeration), not 18-24 months for a pe of 30. I didn't even look at AMAT, and I know nothing about them. Again going off SI's numbers, they show ARBA at a consensus EPS growth rate of 50%. That translates into a pe of 40 in many, many years. fy200 -.27, fy2001 -.14, fy2002 -.07, etc..etc..etc..how many years until ~$1 in earnings ? I'm not saying these aren't great companies and I'm not saying they won't go up from here, I'm simply saying that by any "standard" method of analysis they are way overvalued. Jeff
