I refuse to accept that a design which allows "an application calling into the OS passing invalid data" to crash the entire OS so that not even CTRL-ALT-DEL will allow recovery is a good design. Will Windows-Me suffer from the same infirmity? Why should I ascribe any credibility at all to a company that would deliver such a travesty a good twenty years after it was well known in the world of OS design how to avoid such problems? JMHO.
