John, I don't know about the rest of the world, but I have a Palm III and know about a dozen other Palm users. We talk about Palm stuff to download, tips, and tricks a lot. None of us have ever exchanged any Palm data nor even had a discussion about the capability. So, in my tiny part of the world the ability to exchange info doesn't even make it on the list of why people choose Palm over others. The main reasons we chose Palm are ease of use (due in large part to Graffiti) and the large community of developers and their downloadable apps. Regards...Alski
