The reason for this is that within us is the ability to make observations on society and establish for ourselves confirmation on what is right and what is wrong, good or bad. This ability has an internal locus of control and seems to be universal.

The reason for this is that we have the ability to observe what works and what doesn't. Then we call what works "right" and "good" and what doesn't work "wrong" or "bad". Then we encourage and reward what works and discourage and punish what doesn't.

People all over the world have discovered how to make fire. Does that mean that the ability to make fire is innate or does it mean that we have a common need for light and warmth?
