Summer's end!? <gg> I'm kind of hoping it will be a little sooner than that.

Wish I'd seen your post this morning (Thursday) about how the market might go in spite of the AMD earnings. Would have saved me a few bucks and made me a few more. I hate it when you're right. <gg>

I was just wondering, have you redeemed any mutual fund shares since the weakness in the markets began? I'm wondering to what extent long-term mutual fund holders are doing with their funds since the markets have been so unstable. Hard to imagine all the tech selling coming from individuals who own the stocks through private accounts.

I called my parents a couple of days ago and told them I thought it might be wise to move some of their holdings into safer areas like cash or bonds (the first time I had ever done such a thing). My dad said he was confident the market would go back up sooner or later, and kind of acted like it didn't matter much. I sure wish I had such a "come what may" attitude toward the market. <gg>

SABA released earnings:

biz.yahoo.com

Don't look too hard at those numbers. <g>

Hoping we see a little run up in anticipation of the split in CELG, but not real confindent. I swear, if I get burned on this one, it will be a long time before I ever buy another stock which is going to split 3 -1. I've been burned twice already on two other such stocks. Yeah, slow learner. <gg>

Talk at ya tomorrow,

Mike

Wish I would have bought WEBT at the close. Up almost 4 points in after-hours.
