V: Lots of folks seem to be waiting for 'The Houses' to send out their very credible ambassadors...FYI... Message 13420332 I sure have not figured out why 'The Houses' have decided to wait so long....IMO, they are pushing this sell-off to the limit...Yet, I'll bet they have their reasons...They actually can thrive in this churn 'em and burn 'em environment...Imagine the commissions they are taking in from the nervous investors and Fund Managers <G>....Yet, they need to make sure that folks remain confident in investing in tech stocks -- and even the high quality internets (the underwriting fees from the hundreds of IPOs are TOO LUCRATIVE for them to sit still much longer)....I would not be surprised if we see Goldman's AJ Cohen and some of the other 'Gurus' speaking up more than usual in the next 10 days....They may talk about how we clearly have 'more rational valuations', a strong economy, and a higher allocation of portfolios should now be in stocks.
