EK - We had a greater percentage drop just 18 months ago. Since 1982, I count 5 drops that have been worse.

OK maybe not the worst since the 20s. But:-

The 1998 crash didn't last very long and the FEd got scared and lowered interest rates obligingly. This time they are going to keep raising them.

I don't know about the other crashes you refer to but this ine is at one of the worst times of the year ie better have a crash later in the year bacuase it just seems to be that you have a better chance of recovery then as people buy over the winter months.

Lastly you are right the NAZ went up with a large move. There almost seems to be a feeling that somehow we were really quite wrong to and sort of guilty by having had such a thing. I get that feeling from some of the posts and comments.

With that kind of attitude around it doesn't seem to me that you are going to see much buying interest and absent buying interest we continue down till when.....??

I'd really love someone to put a figure on where that might be.

Best regards,

L
