Yes, sector rotational media hype pro and con. And a boomtown frenzy on certain sectors while ignoring others completely. Right now techs are being treated as dogs. And the problem is they all get lumped together whether they deserve to be or not. As we learn from our mistakes we must realize that everything equalizes sooner or later. Therefore hang onto your quality oversold stocks now and they will recover, gradually at least. Or else take tax losses and get back in when you feel ready. Or re-arrange your portfolio. I think the fund managers know though that the way to get 50% gains this year is to buy low. They're simply waiting to see who gets back in first. Then it should be another stampede, at least for a short time.

Of course I'm talking from the perspective of the LU, IBM, CPQ and UIS type holders, which is where I sit. They were not high-fliers in fact they were beaten down IMHO. Still they get hurt along with everything else this week.

Let's hope today finishes up for the general market and bargain techs in particular. There will be a lot of pain out there if this doesn't happen. It's all up to major buyers who hopefully know when to buy at the bottom.

Question - Why do they call them dogs? I love my dogs (pet ones)and find them the best investments I've ever made. gg
