I am sure you are correct. I read in Elder's book that brokerages have engineers as one of their largest groups of clients demographically. And most of them will loose much of the time. Engineers are generally well educated and analytical by nature, yet many (myself included sometimes) have no knack for making money consistently in equities markets. It's not about being smart...
