Hunkered down. Hmmm. That's how I'll put it from now on. It won't explain the glassy eyed stare, the nails gnawed to the second knuckle, why we are planning menus around the Y2K canned goods staple provisions bought with December QCOM money, or the way I sobbed to the doctor, "I know I only refilled on the 4th, but, but, but I NEED more valium." But "hunkered down" is good understatement.

BTW Poet why is everyone saying you are a petite blonde? Sure you are a dainty thing, but that emerald mohawk of yours is really impressive. I know some people at the options seminar had a hard time looking past that kind of thing, but those of us who were able to look deeper were glad we did.
