Thanks for your suggestions y2k. I don't know anything about fibre optics, but I have heard there is a world-wide shortage of "filters". It is my understanding that every fibre optic cable has to have one of these filters. There is supposed to be only two companies in the world making filters (or maybe making reliable ones?), one in Japan and the other ???? I am not yet up to speed on fibre optics, but the potential seems endless.
