Track Data names firm to seek strategic options NEW YORK, April 14 (Reuters) - Online trading and market data services provider Track Data Corp. (NasdaqNM:TRAC - news) said on Friday it retained investment bank Veronis Suhler to advise on strategic options, including a possible sale of the company. The announcement comes a day after the company cancelled its three-for-two stock split, originally announced on April 3, due to market conditions. ``We believe this is an appropriate time to explore opportunities to maximize shareholder value,' said Barry Hertz, Track Data's chief executive in a statement. Shares fell one to 4-3/8 in early Nasdaq trading.
