Do we get a bottom or not is what I'm wondering? This does not feel like a bottom in that there is no bounce. I think we're in for another game of chicken.......when will the retail investors sell? How much pain is enough? One of the indicators worth watching for is the magazine covers declaring the bull over. This is what happened in October, when the market turned. Almost every weekly financial, news and even some monthlies like Esquire plastered their covers with predictions of the coming bear.

We may not get a definitive bottom though for a while but a series of seeming bottoms that lure money back in only to have it jerked away again. This kind of activity can be just as damaging over time as head fakes create even more turbulence.

I still don't think there has been enough pain, even though there are some fabulous bargains now.
