................MacGillivray also revealed one stat that may make cable-modem competitors wince: DSL tops cable modems in residential market share in five SBC markets: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. The exact figures: DSL 53% market share; cable modems 47%. Interesting... Looks as if there is a possibility of the slow-moving cable companies getting out-marketed by the phone Cos. with late and inferior technology! I've seen it happen before.
