covered my SPY short position this morning at 142 5/8. While I obviously would have a better price at the moment I had already arbitraged the short position into the 2beta S&P short ultrabear fund. I was just playing around holding the double short position for a while and made a few bucks on the gamble. Now back to no margin and will just continue to lose money as my NASDAQ type stuff does worse than my S&P short fund. That P/C ratio finally rising could signal a NASDAQ rally soon at least for a while. Bob Brinker believers need to keep in mind his model calls for a greater than 20% drop in the S&P500 from its 12/31/99 level Marc
