Once again, Gary, had you bookmarked me, you would have been able to follow my analysis starting from two weeks ago, when stocks were at much higher levels...since you tell me that my call is a market direction call, here's a post from the Market Direction thread from 10 days ago:

Technical Analysis alert: 13 day and 50 day moving average on Nasdaq are going to cross this week (unless Nasdaq rallies above 4500 within two days) - the first time since September 1999.
This is a negative sign for the technicians and signifies medium term weakness in the markets. In other words, if you think the Nasdaq is already "down" think again.

QQQ - a good barometer for Nasdaq, is skating on its 5day MA.

Example of what can happen when a momentum stock gets broken, and QQQ is certainly a momentum stock.

You could pretty much overlap these charts without the numbers and you would see the same thing. Tremendous downside momentum with the 5day MA acting as closing resistance and 10 day MA acting as intraday resistance. The scary thing is that a stock like EXLN and CRA began downtrending in early March, while QQQ's trend only broke last week.
