At this point I'm not convinced of that. If our economy is headed for recession, (no soft landing) then the fundamentals of the G's are impacted. Yes, I believe they will perform better than most, but they will not be immune to a protracted bear. The other point to remember is that the stocks that are "still standing" are providing liquidity for the market, that's why I don't think this will not be over until we see a final capitulation on the leaders. It could be today, and yet if we get another round of unfriendly inflation numbers in May I believe any further rallies will get sold.
