Ken, while we can be mad as hell about the drops in our portfolios, we should be taking "it" as this really provides buying opportunities. One should never get into a case of "forgotten history". PMCS did a similar ~50% drop in the summer/fall of 1998 during the Asian/Russian crisis. Back then I recommended to some co-workers that they should take the opportunity to get some PMCS on the cheap. One did (getting in at a split adjusted $7 a share), three others didn't. Needless to say, those other three have been kicking themselves for quite a while now.

Hmm, if we go with 20% growth quarter over quarter in strictly networking revenues:

Q1 $97.8 million (actual)
Q2 $117.4 million (projected)
Q3 $140.9 million (projected)
Q4 $169.1 million (projected)
--------------------
Y2000 $525.2 million (projected)

Now for total profits based on 28% of networking revenues for projections on Q2, Q3, and Q4:

Q1 $28.1 million (actual)
Q2 $32.9 million (projected)
Q3 $39.5 million (projected)
Q4 $47.3 million (projected)
----------------------------------
Y2000 $147.8 million (projected)

Given the 166.6 million shares, that's $0.89 a share which I believe is 10% higher than any of the analysts' Y2000 estimates. Of course, this is just a WAG on my part. Should be interesting to see how the next three quarters go.
