Jill,
I pick Wed because so many people are writing CC's today to save their portfolios. Without institutional support for this market we could see further declines in the underlying stocks. This will bring about buying back calls and selling the underlying stocks. Option volume goes up on margin call days. Selling CC's here may be adding to the agony. Of course, I could be wrong.
