I got a nice letter from Mark Huntley, CEO of Aquasearch today (not a personalized letter; a mass mailing to shareholders).

It starts out by stating that AQSE had a $1.3 million loss for 1996, but goes on with 2 pages of positives. I wasn't so much impressed with the content (most of it was old news) as I was with the presentation.

If I had a scanner, I'd post it here, but I don't have one. I haven't checked their Web site, but I doubt it's there yet.

Of note, "We are now negotiating a combination of debt and equity financing for more than $10 million that will allow us to expand our production capacity. We are also in discussion with other potential partners for new product development."

Others may have a different take on this letter, but I appreciate it. It's very positive, and a little communication goes a long ways.
