Cashin from CNBC just now who is very accurate:
Worrisome. No purgative selling. Is very very very rare to have a bottom on Fridays.

What is more expected is Monday is first day of possible purgative selling. Cause people talk about their mutual funds etc. and then decide to sell monday mornings.....

there is not so much selling as there is absence of buyers nobody wants to be a hero.

Everyone waiting to monday/tues.....

Also:

14:11 ET Merrill's Mid-Day Squawk : Merrill Lynch market strategist Richard McCabe saying that he suspects a pick-up in margin calls with the market closing so weakly; also says that "we will probably have to look for further weakness into next week with probably a new climatic low early next week. Then the process of rally and test will begin again. If that occurs we suspect that we may get a respectable rally or rebound late in April or May which may last for several weeks."

And Stan also: NAZ closed that gap just under 3500 today....:)))
