Thread, I received a PM to my earlier post. I replied to Paul & Jay with the following.

Thanks for the reply.

I actually agree with you in more than just principle. I know all, you, me and them, are frustrated with having to wait for solutions to problems.

Personally, anyone who thinks the internet should work perfectly before it has been around 30 years is nuts. (In it's current form). Those posters who rant and rave about how much money you have lost them just need their diapers changed.

I have never had, nor expect yet, flawless service from anyone on the net. Shoot, I have two computers, 4 monitors, 3 isp accounts, two dial up modems, one DSL line, and 6 battery back-ups. I don't even trust my computers let-alone the internet.

I'm not letting you off the hook, understand? But I do expect quite some time to pass before things get better. I tremendously appreciate you keeping us informed on your upgrade efforts. I would rather know it's going to be 6 weeks or even 6 months, than to know nothing. And, I full well expect there will be delays.

As difficult as it may be, through thick and thin, it really is requisite you folks maintain your decorum. I know it's not fair we get to bitch and you have to be nice, but that's business. I am sure you do not want to promote an adversarial atmosphere on the thread.

I know I do not want to be going head to head with you folks. I would venture that most of your clients understand your situation. Those, of course, you do not hear from. I read the thread everyday. I sometimes express frustration myself, but I try hard to refrain from mouthing off with useless, counterproductive, threats.

You may have cause and need to pursue some of the steps to tone down a poster, but, by-n-large that should be private. I am sure if you pursue one he will be glad to spread the word for you. Others will get the message.

Well, we are both a couple of ramblers. :-D No need to respond to this missive.

Have a good weekend, if you are not on the work crew solving these problems. :-)
