ANALYSTS SEE US STOCK PLUNGE AS HEALTHY...No it isn't!! Shocks to the system like this could threaten the health of the real economy...especially if it continues. This could make it very difficult for the Fed to find the right level for interest rates. Recession of the early 90s was partly blamed on Fed's response to crash of 87. Just another example of positive spin... Of course, runaway speculation has made this inevitable...
