Monday will be a walk on very thin ice. Taxes ... Greenspan speaks... People will mull over their losses... Margin calls will force selling or immediate account infusions... Options expiration on Friday ... thestreet.com CMGI has recently doubled put option dollars... YAHOO added 20 million in put dollars the day before yesterday. If a rally ensues it should be anytime between Monday midday (less likely) and Thursday evening ...a rally could be explosive if shorts panic or opt to cover before expiration - which at this point is possible (and smart) because of massive, recent shorting gains.
