LaShark, SD, the best way to answer your question... is to use the NASDAQ Chart below... Identify October 1987 and compare the "dent" it did with others further along to the right of the Graph... Very positive economic fundamentals are still with us, which are certainly far better than they were back in 1987... quote.yahoo.com^IXIC&d=my Also consider that the remaining downside is probably around 300 points and the upside, this year, probably 1500 to 2000 points... Based on past History, over the next 5 years, the upside potential should be of the order of 5 to 6000 points above current level... Some psychologic damage has been done in the last few days but those who have invested in Companies with Intrinsic Value, should have nothing to worry about... JMHO, F. Goelo + + +
