amy, i s/h said eps from operations. intel has padded eps with one time gains from the sale of internet stocks at bubble prices. if you look at the last three years and calculate avg growth during that time frame, 18% will show up on your calculator (including the one time gains). i'm not as far off as you might have initially thought.
