James: With respect to Bre-X, did you watch the interview with Bingham
of the Van Eck (gold) Fund which interview was hosted by David Faber
and Felicia Taylor. Taylor further solidified her credentials as an
outstanding teleprompter reader, but a witless wonder in every other
respect. Faber did yeoman's work; Taylor fumbled badly. The twin
tasks of thinking on her feet and asking less than inane questions
were apparently beyond her ken. Good hairdo, however.

CNBC-TV continues to slide ineluctably toward Looney Toon
status. I half expect a stuttering and fumbling Porky Pig to
pop out of the Money Wheel credit scroll at the terminus of
the program to announce the end of the show.
