johnd -- suggest you look up the words 'profit' lost opportunity' 'LONG term losses' and look at the value of Berkshire now vs even 2 months ago,, I care where the issues I own trade. Day to day fluctuations mean little. This down turn could last days, weeks, months or years. I suspect msft will recover some with it and when they settle with the doj.. until then I suspect it will range and sag,, no sense buying this after the initial pop as it is going to be sometime before it gets a decent valuation,,,
