To All: How to best deal with posters who use ALL CAPS?

Here is an interesting post that expresses frustration at someone who uses all caps...

exchange2000.com

Does the mere use of all caps fit into the type I category? An irritating style (using all caps) isn't exactly the same thing as posting irritating substantive comments.

Some people simply may not know that using all caps is the Internet version of shouting and is offensive to most people.

I guess the choice is to either ignore it, or bring it to the attention of the poster. But for classification purposes, does a post that uses all caps, in and of itself, fall into the type I category?

Any ideas on this? Thanks.
