Interesting Developments on the Gilder Tech Letter Site...

I think this is relevant to where we are in this market.

1) There appears to be a "suicide note" posting there by a "margin loser" that the board is taking seriously.

2) People are posting that they are canceling their subscriptions to the Gilder Tech Letter.

3) Posters are alleging that Gilder was secretly short MOT when he recommended it.

4) Posters are posting vicious personal attacks on George Gilder himself.

5)People stating that they are broke, liquidated and seeking advice on how to file bankruptcy.

6)People attacking a frequent and good poster there "Smitty" who has posted many smaller stocks he calls "nuggets" there, that in general..even given the last 3 weeks, have done well as a "pump and dump" artist.

You get the picture. The tone on the board has dramatically changed from a group that was very collegial and focused on technology talk, to one of blame, fault, personal attack and dark agendas. Makes the skirmishes here look minor. I want to congratulate the vast majority on this board for staying on the high road. I see the Gilder board as great evidence that we are in that great pit of despair where ultimately the Phoenix always rises from. Cheers!
