Jan <Heard early today that the margin debt balance was $278B at the end of March(78% increase from 3/99). Not much "sense and sensibility" in this Mkt.> I sometimes wonder if others have data on a more current basis -- i.e. margin debt estimates on a day-to-day basis -- or fund cash balances - or short sales, etc. We talk sometimes about how the little guy has access to information -- how much info do you think is off our radar screen and on somebody elses?
