Bobby, a break of that trend line would jibe with the wave count i just mentioned. btw, i agree that Prechter is not looking hard enough at inter-market relationships. instead he tries to count every index and commodity separately. i try to look at alternate counts and then adjust their probabilities based on inter-market relationships. this is one more reason to suspect a big 3 down in Dow/SPX/OEX is in progress...the fact that the XAU seems poised to move in the opposite direction, and possibly make a sizeable move at that. hb
