Damien i could be off base here so i have to look to you. Service revenue re consultants i am assuming goes out at around a min. of 250.00 per hour. Friend who was with Baan had a heck of a problem hot shot tech out of main office and customer and system collisions on coast.
If the contracts are drawn up by Exln they don't have the problems I see in consulting divisions of CPA firms enormous overhead insurance legal framework eats up sane hourly rate. Many consultants in the big 6 arena are picked up raw out of school and can't always direct in the right SW manner that would be most beneficial to the client.
If you are called in to restructure a system the profits here could be huge. Marketing is a specialty a costly one when you are trying to reach the average business person who has little soft ware savy .
My thought applying what i do know to what exists.
Some one got through to Wells Fargo and did one bang up job.
Msft is excell but to my knowledge corporation requiring precision and systems aren't looking at Msft.
