no problem about the late reply, jazzcat. Given what's happened these past few weeks, i'm surprised you even remember.

thanks for the info. Atlhough those companies might be on the forefront of superconductor technology, i'd be somewhat cautious of them. I believe ISCO has convertible notes that can be excercised at 25 cents a share.

also, SCON apparently had a weird program where you would get a certain number of SCON shares for every filter you purchase with them. Meaning they're practically paying you to buy their products. I can't find the actual post showing this but i have found one that has a comment on it.

Gilder is probably right about the technology but i'm not so sure about the companies. I can't imagine that every company he recommends has management as savvy as QCOM's.

Again, I did only a cursory check so i could be completely wrong about all this.
