Hi Scumbria; I'd love for you to add more to that post. What gives Intel that power over Dell?

My own guess is that Intel pumps out RDRAM systems until they can get their DDR on line, probably very late this year, or early next. Or until a company like Via starts stealing too much market share, as with the PC133 chipsets.
