"Just look at the reports that came out on Thursday night for companies like Sun (SUNW) and PMC-Sierra (PMCS) and Gateway (GTW). I defy you to tell me what's bad about them. "

Why, nothing is wrong with them.

But just because there is nothing wrong with them, that is no reason why their stock should go up forever, and their stocks' PE ratio to expand limitlessly.

"As long as the Fed maintains a "steady as she goes" policy, there's no reason to believe that the cumulative effect of its hikes will cause profit growth for quality companies to slow dramatically."

And THAT is the problem. Greenie WANTS the profit growth to slow. Until he sees that happening, he's going to continue to hike interest rates.

The bubble has burst - and you have just seen the beginning of it.

EDIG screwed-up. They should have used the strength of the market and their stock to raise cash - a secondary or private offering - even at the unfavorable terms that would have been offered to an OTCBB company - before the crash MIGHT have been their ticket - IF they would have known how to use the money wisely.

My new predictions for EDIG - $1 this year, and no NASDAQ listing. Oh, it will recover, as will the market, and could see $7-8 before turning back down. But it will see a buck before the year is out, and will be back into pennies next year.
