Decline in tv products sales does not alarm me as much as upon first sight. Not many people in the industry are going to want to spend big dollars on current tv technology when HDTV is less than a year and half away; they'll just hold on and minimize their expenditures on current technology so that they can utilize their capital on HDTV items as they become available. My persoanl opinion is that AXC is well poised, with its wealth of pataents and current cutting edge technologies, to take full advantage of the change to HDTV. Remember that Ampex was there 10 years ago, but at that time no one else showed up at the party. Ampex is still there waiting and now the FCC has mandated that everyone else be in attendance. This is the fourth leg of the story, and probably one that is not being looked at. MB
