Yes, I have seen the article. Let me quote from it:

I think that sentiment nicely sums up the article itself.

For example, I never realised that a power supply regulator formed part of the 820 chipset - having read the article I now know different.

I always thought that Intel published a detailed specification for the contents of the serial prom on their website. Now I know that I imagined it.

Now I know that a power supply smoothing capacitor occasionally discharges itself. Well, yes I have heard of components being defective, but when was a faulty capacitor a defective integrated circuit?
