So tero, tell us what you really think about QCOM's seeking 3G licenses in Japan (in English, hopefully). I didn't bother to actually read the "shot across the bow" press release till just now. I figured it was something about how QCOM will have a cdma2000 booth at some wireless fair in Nagoya. But applying for 3G carrier licenses? On the other side of the world? And bringing the US government into the brouhaha to duke it out with the MPT? What does this mean? Please do not tell me QCOM is trying to get into the carrier business again! This seems surreal to me. No, this is like meta-surreal. What the hell is this?
