just got into sun at 76 and got on the thread. rather amazed to find the elian saga being played out - god, am i sick of it. as a single father, kids now raised, i vehemently support his right to raise his son. each of my kids made the choice to come and live with me independently at age 11 (so i know what hell is - teenagers!!!) and i think calling the father a putz, etc., is only a reflection on those doing the calling. i live in a very rural area and wouldn't think of going to town to live. all your points on his present living situation, etc., are very well taken. don
