JDN, are we talking about the same Bloomberg, with the split screens all over the place? That one has the most clueless host people. OTOH, CNBC's Kathleen Hayes is very sharp on bonds, David Faber and Joe Kernen do a good job of getting and presenting mergers and acquisitions, and earnings info. Mark Haines is a good referee. These are the early a.m. people on the show. They also have much better guests, to me, like Battapaglia, Kudlow, many more. The rest of the day, I'll agree, is not as good. Maria, well, what can I say about Maria. Those Bloomberg folks, like the guy with the money flow bit, the NYSE equiv. of Maria, and the blonde woman (obviously made a big impression on me) they could have gotten right off the street. Maybe the graphic stream of info at the bottom of he screen is Bloomberg's claim to fame?
If CNBC sucks so bad, why are they the most watched, by far. OK, same reason why sitcoms got so popular in decades past?
Well, disagree again.
CNBC does have its dolts, like Bob Pisani.
