mindmeld, Did I say anything about not working hard? If you take the time to actually read my original comments (that would require you to take your rose colored glasses off for a moment), you would see that i was pointing to the FACT that companies like SCMR offer 4-5X as many shares as the big 3. CSCO is a good company, as are LU and NT, but most good engineers that are out there want the stock options. In this environment and especially at present levels, that strongly favors companies with liberal option plans and start-ups with a good story and big market ability. I know hundreds of people that have "hit the lottery". Every one of them did it by making the right decisions and by working their butts off to deliver a product that CSCO, NT, LU, ALA, NOK or Siemens needed. you sound bitter today. you must not have won the lottery. tp
