I was with a client Friday that was CEO from Phily that was in town on business. We discussed the market. My understanding of this fellow is that he is enormously wealthy. Upper tier. He told me he was going to contact his manager at ML that afternoon and chew some butt, so far as to threaten to pull his holdings and go to a mere discount broker. He said that some in his circle had already made such phone calls. Seems those of his elk believe the notion that the Houses are behind a lot of this stink and had simply let it go too far. He said that he had been getting daily personal reports from them, due to his status, and that he felt he was on top of things based on what they were telling him..... until Thurs/Fri. I would loved to have talked to him more but was not the proper place being a client business meeting.

I suspect there were many such phone calls to the big boys like that and more to be made this weekend that heretofore weren't made by that class.
