ImmuDyne, Inc. announces expanded marketing program to distribute MacroForce Products
HOUSTON--(BW HealthWire)--May 6, 1997--ImmuDyne, Inc. (OTC:BB - news), a biotech company with proprietary technologies for health enhancement products, has contracted with Progressive Health Concepts Inc. (PHC), a health and nutrition consultancy and marketing firm.
PHC, with its sales force of over 40 of the nutrition industry's leading sales representatives, has embarked on a national campaign to promote MacroForce nutritional supplements to retail health food outlets and alternative healthcare practitioners. MacroForce is a nutritional supplement derived of purified yeast Beta-1,3-D-glucan.
Jade Beutler of PHC, a licensed healthcare practitioner, has written extensively of the dramatic health attributes of ImmuDyne's Beta-1,3-D-glucan, resulting in articles published in many of the nutrition industry's leading consumer and trade magazines, including Health Counselor, The Nature of Health, Health Search and Natural Pharmacy News. The result has been a great deal of interest generated at the consumer and retail level.
Don Bodenbach, President of PHC, has put in motion a comprehensive marketing launch of MacroForce including national media attention through radio, editorials and ads in consumer, trade and professional magazines. Bodenbach states, ``It is our intention at PHC to make ImmuDyne and MacroForce products a recognized force within the health and nutrition industry.''
An additional new product, MacroForce Plus C, was introduced at the Natural Foods Expo in Anaheim and is now available nationally. According to Dr. Leonid Ber, ImmuDyne's Vice President of Research and Development,
``MacroForce Plus C, a patent pending combination of Calcium Ascorbate and Beta-1,3-D-glucan, is particularly recommended for those with immune compromise conditions. The original MacroForce is designed for daily use for its antioxidant, nutritional supplement and protective attributes.'' More products are under development, and are expected to be marketed in the near future.
These products are part of the rapidly growing vitamin, nutritional supplement and herbal product market which is expected to reach $6.7 billion by the year 2000, according to a Gallup Organization survey last year.
