But the theory is worthless if you can't reproduce it. I think you need to separate the wholesale corruption in Nasdaq in the past, with occasional manipulation of illiquid stocks now, to probably non existent in liquid Nasdaq and NYSE stocks.

I am confused. So you are saying that you do not think that there are market makers on the NAZ?

I am not one of those guys who sees a MM in every corner but there definitely certain stocks with normal floats that seem to be manipulated. When I say manipulated, the price is forced down by 4-6 pts for most of the day, only to pop up at the end and close up for the day. This goes on day afer day....I just can't believe its simply the reflection of a natural/normal buy/sell process. Examples are ADIC, IONN and ZOMX to name a few.
