From one who stayed too long at the Fair (ie. long)': We often make a simple mistake of logic here when discussing the relationship of our choices and the analysts/institutions role. IT'S OUR MONEY WE ARE DEALING WITH; THEY USE OPMs (other people's money). So unless you can find me a significant legal case of (institutional) fiduciary contract breachment (a vile phrase) then we have to face up to it that we take responsibilty and they assign it elsewhere. This helps them keep objective re:market trends in the short term, ie. recent "dip", whereas we must needs consider that we will hold ourselves up to scorn if we miss the reversal. Not them, they attribute all volatility to us. But while they can escape self recrimination (what ever happened to worrying about widows/widowers and orphans?) they never get the thrill of having laid it on the line knowing it can come back to haunt them or cover them with glory...exception of course was Garzarelli in '87...she rode that for a long time. Well anyway, all this is just to avoid studying for a test so I'll get off the soap box and back to work.

Oh yea....guess who on this thread is both a trader and using his own money...you guessed it...Lee Kramer... and he called this event for us.....some of us will listen better next time.
