Because there is so much clamor over this word, I would be interested in hearing your definition of valuation and what a correct valuation is. It gets very confusing.

I assume you mean valuation is something like the collection of PE, year to year earnings/profit growth, and market cap.

Let's assume the CC at earnings time is positive (the CEO thinks the business will do well in the next quarter). Somehow you must take those figures and project to next quarter/year to find whether or not a stock is properly priced or if its "valuations are stretched". Please let me know how you do your analysis.
