JP - Twin Gold has a deposit of one million ounces of gold and 3.2 million ounces of silver in Idaho. 615 holes drilled for 200,000 feet of drilling. Potential for another 1.5 million ounces of gold. Scoping study says US$180 per ounce to mine. Would I buy TWG for this deposit? Absolutely not. But I did buy Twin for the most exciting grassroots diamond play in Canada. Ungava Bay - northern Quebec - Torngat is a major dyke system which is exposed on surface. The rock is barren, high and dry. The main system is in excess of 22km. The dykes are seen as vertical as they rise up the side of a fjord and cliff ~450 meters high. A crisp play where tonnage is not a question. Diamonds so far discovered in small sampling of coarse grained kimberlite are of gem quality and show good size and population when compared to the early samplings of the NWT discoveries. The mag survey shows 46 potential dykes and a multitude of circular targets. All sampling so far has been diamondiferous. Currently bulk sampling. twingold.com John
