Joel, FYI only, the latest update on PMTC from Value Line. Value Line is an independent provider of stock analysis. They make no market in any stocks... PARAMETRIC TECHNOLOGY (9 1/2)* Latest Report page 2199 3-3-00 Parametric Technology recently announced that its fiscal-second-quarter (ended April 1st) results will likely fall short of analysts' targets. The company expects share earnings to either break even or perhaps be slightly negative. We had anticipated share net of $0.09 for the quarter. The earnings shortfall is a direct result of decreased sales in the period. The company attributes the lower revenues to unexpected challenges in its effort to transform its sales force to a solutions-oriented, multi-product business model. In response to Parametric's revenue difficulties, we have lowered our share-net estimate for fiscal 2000 to $0.25, from $0.50.
